Follow the Leader: The Way of Jesus
Intro: Life with God is good because God is good.
Lesson Recap: Jesus tells his disciples what will happen to him and explains what it means to follow him. (From Matthew 16:21-28)
At home (bedtime, car rides, mealtime etc.):
Ask- When is it hard to love others? When is it easy? How did Peter respond when Jesus told them he would die?
Say- Follow Jesus and he will show you the way.
Wonder Together- What do you think God is doing in our world today? I wonder how we follow Jesus?
Pray- Loving God, help us follow in Jesus’ way. Guide our eyes, ears, mouth, hands, and feet as we live life with you. Amen.
