Life with God is good because God is good.
At home (bedtime, car rides, mealtime etc.):
Ask- What did John the Baptist urge people to do? (turn from sin and ask God for forgiveness) What does baptism show others? (God’s forgiveness gives us a fresh start, we are washed clean) Who baptized Jesus? (John the Baptist)
Wonder – I wonder why John the Baptist hesitated to baptize Jesus? I wonder what fresh start you’d like to have this year? I wonder what word you think of as a “theme” for 2024?
Pray- Loving God, help us make the most of our fresh start as we live a new life in Christ. Amen.
Activities- Bless your house for Epiphany using the House Blessing kits in Church today. Decorate your stars and write the “Word of the Year” on them. Display your stars somewhere you will see it all year long.
