This Sunday is Mother's Day! And it's also the last Sunday before the day of Pentecost! We're going to learn how Jesus ascended into heaven, and he said he will always be with us. The kids will take home a glow in the dark star to remind them Jesus is with them.
We will also be getting ready for Pentecost by making headbands and streamers. Come Holy Spirit!

Lesson Recap: John 17:6-19 – Jesus prayed for his friends and then ascended into heaven. His friends were ready to continue the work he had given them to do. Now, Jesus is with everyone, everywhere. He’s right here with us.
At home (bedtime, car rides, mealtime etc.):
Pray: Loving God, thank you for helping your friends get ready to do their work and for helping us get ready to do ours. Amen!
