Be Prepared

Intro: Life with God is good because God is good.

Lesson Recap: Jesus tells the parable of the wise and foolish virgins.

At home (bedtime, car rides, mealtime etc.):

Ask- Which girls were able to attend the wedding party? Why were the other girls not allowed into the party?

Say- Jesus teaches us to be ready for him to show up in our lives.

Wonder Together- I wonder how God’s kingdom is like a wedding party? I wonder how we can prepare for Jesus to come into our lives? I wonder what you would bring on a journey with God?

Pray- Loving God, Help us be prepared and ready for you to show up in our lives. Amen.
